The Northern Manitoba Blizzard look to get back into the win column tomorrow when they welcome the Virden Oil Capitals to town.
The Blizz are coming off a 5–2 loss against division leader Dauphin, while second-ranked Virden is fresh off a 5–1 win over Portage. Puck drop for tomorrow’s game is 7:00 P.M. The final October home game for the Blizz will take place next Tuesday, once again against Dauphin.
The OCN Storm, on the other hand, will continue their road stretch this weekend as they head to NCN to take on the Flames. Six games into the season, the Storm are proving to be the top team in the entire KJHL, boasting a 5–1 record. NCN, meanwhile, have only picked up three points in four games and will look to get their early season back on track. Saturday’s puck drop is set for 4:30 P.M., while Sunday’s game begins at 1:30 P.M. A friendly reminder that all Storm games are streamed live on their official Facebook page.
