The official schedule has been released for the preliminary round of the 2025 Centennial Cup. The Northern Manitoba Blizzard will open the tournament against the OJHL’s Trenton Golden Hawks on May 8th at 1:00 p.m. On May 10th at 8:30 p.m., they’ll take on the NOJHL’s Sudbury Cubs, followed by a matchup with the SIJHL’s Kam River Fighting Walleye on May 12th. Lastly, on May 14th, the Blizzard will face off against the AJHL’s Grande Prairie Storm.

This year’s tournament promises to be a must-watch hockey event, as all participating teams will proudly represent their leagues, communities, and provinces. If the Blizzard performs well in the preliminary round, they’ll secure a spot in the quarterfinals on May 16th.

All games will be held at the Max Bell Centre in Calgary, AB.

The Blizzard will host a Centennial Cup send-off today at 11:00 a.m. at Roy H. Johnston Arena. All are welcome to stop by and show their support.
