Storm Advance to Championship After Dominating Weekend Wins
After scoring back-to-back impressive wins here at home, the OCN Storm have officially punched their ticket to a KJHL championship series against the Peguis Juniors. The Storm dominated NCN from start to finish on Saturday and Sunday, finishing the weekend with a combined score of 15-7. In the regular season, the two squads met eight times and went 4-4 against each other. The Juniors are fresh off a series sweep against the Norway House North Stars and will get home ice advantage in their championship match-up against the Storm. The first two games in this best-of-seven contest will go down this Saturday and Sunday; the Storm will return home to play on Wednesday and Thursday next week.
