Turnbull Cup Playoffs Begin Tonight with Four Exciting Matchups
The MJHL's Turnbull Cup Playoffs get underway tonight with four games happening across the province. In the MGEU east division, the 4th seed Niverville Nighthawks will compete against 1st seed Winkler, and 3rd seed Portage will face off against the 2nd seed Steinbach Pistons. In the MEGU west division, the 4th-seeded Wolverines will take on the 1st-seeded Dauphin Kings. Locally, the 2nd-seeded Northern Manitoba Blizzard will host 3rd-seeded Neepawa today and tomorrow at the Roy H. Johnston Arena. Tonight's puck drop is slated for 7:00 p.m.; tonight and tomorrow's game will be broadcast live on 102.9 CJAR. The FunkyThreadz pre-game show will start at around 6:45 p.m.
