Blizz Extend Win Streak to Five with 1-0 Victory Over Dauphin
The Northern Manitoba Blizzard are now riding a five-game win streak after dethroning division rival Dauphin. The Blizz beat the Kings in a 1-0 nail bitter, the lone goal scored by Tyler Dahms and the Blizz power play unit late in the third. Taye Timmerman put on an elite performance in goal for the Blizz, saving all twenty-one shots on goal and earning his second shutout of the year. The Blizz are now a few points away from stealing the number one seed from Dauphin. They have 67 points, whereas Dauphin has 71 points; the Blizz will next play against Steinbach and the Freeze in a two-night doubleheader this weekend.
