The Northern Manitoba Blizzard now have back-to-back victories after last night's 4-2 win against the Swan Valley Stampeders. Cael Primanti and Miguel Bouvier opened the scoring for the Blizz, and Will Brown of Swan Valley was able to knock one in before the first intermission. There was no scoring in the second, but thirty seconds into the third, Marlen Edwards netted his twenty-first goal of the season. Will Brown got one more for the Stampeders to inch the game closer, but it wasn't enough to turn the tide. Blizz defenceman Brett Ward registered an empty netter with mere seconds left to make the final 4-2 for the Blizz. The Blizz will now redirect their energy to this weekend's two-game doubleheader against the Blues and the Steelers. Both games will be broadcast live on CJAR.
