Last weekend, two JV teams from  Northern Manitoba were crowned Zone 11 Champions; starting today, two more varsity squads will look to earn a ticket to the A/AA Provincial Championship. MBCI will be hosting the girls's Basketball Championship from Thursday to Saturday. At the same time, the boys' championship will take place at the Frontier Collegiate Campus in Cranberry Portage and will start on Friday. The Girl's round-robin format will be split into two pools and feature a total of six schools; the boys, on the other hand, will be grouped into one and see five Northern schools competing against each other.
