The varsity boys' basketball team at R.D. Parker Collegiate earned third place at this past weekend's Linden Christian School Hoops For Hope Tournament. They were awarded a win in their first game against Niverville, as the Panthers could not attend day one due to weather conditions. The Trojans then lost a close match to the host school and eventual tournament champions, Linden Christian, with a final score of 61-57. The Trojans went on to play against Nelson McIntyre for third place, defeating the Torchbearers 66-44. The Trojans will now prepare for the upcoming St. Boniface Centurion Classic, which will take place early next month.
