The SV Boys' basketball team at MBCI brought home some hardware after a successful weekend at the MacGregor Basketball Invitational. The Spartans went 3-0 in tournament play, beating Prairie Mountain 87-44, Minnedosa Collegiate 73-49, and Gimli High School 78-58 in the championship game.
In other basketball news, the SV Girls at Oscar Lathlin Collegiate placed third at the St. Boniface Centurion Classic. The R.D. Parker Collegiate Trojans ended up winning the tournament, defeating the Niverville Panthers 69-38 in the finals.
Lastly, the SV Girls at MBCI placed first in the inaugural Caleb Janzen Basketball Tournament, which took place in Creighton this past weekend.
