Both JV volleyball squads of MBCI were on the road this past weekend.
The JV boys played in the Hamiota Huskies Tournament and the JV girls participated in the Carberry Volleyball Tournament.
On day one the JV boys dominated their pool going 3-0.
On day two in the quarter-finals, they beat the William Morton Warriors but lost to the eventual tournament champions in the semis in the Virden Bears.
They then played the Carberry Cougars and defeated them for third place.
Much like the JV boys, the JV girls saw a ton of success when it came to pool play after going 4-2 on day one.
Unfortunately in bracket play, they fell short in both games.
Both squads will be competing in the Zone 11 championship this upcoming weekend.
The JV girls will be travelling to Norway House and the JV boys will be playing host.
