Three Road Games Down, Two More To Go

Your Northern Manitoba Blizzard played three road games over the long weekend and went 2-1.

The road trip started last week Friday at the Niverville Recreation Centre where your Blizz picked up a 1-0 win over the Nighthawks.

Keenan McNeill scored the lone goal and it was Taye Timmerman who earned the shutout by stopping all twenty-eight shots on goal.

Moving on to Saturday's game, the Blizz took on the Winnipeg Blues and lost 4-2.

The Blizz had a 2-1 lead going into the third period, but the game ultimately got away from them.

Marlen Edwards and Miguel Bouvier scored the only two goals.

The boys then capped off their three-game road trip with a 4-1 win against the Winnipeg Freeze, Miguel Bouvier had another great night scoring two goals for the Blizz.

The other two goals were scored by Cheechoo Lathlin and John Del Verne.

The Blizz will now play two more road games tonight and tomorrow against the Steinbach Pistons and Selkirk Steelers.
