After Tuesday's 5-2 win against the Virden Oil Capitals and going 2-1 in their three-game home stand, the Northern Manitoba Blizzard will now embark on a five-game road trip.
First up, the boys will be taking on the Niverville Nighthawks, who are tied with the Steinbach Pistons for second place in the MGEU East Division.
The Blizz are 6-2 against the Nighthawks in the last five seasons and look to add another win to the column tonight at the Niverville Recreation Centre.
On Saturday and Sunday, they'll face the Winnipeg Blues and Winnipeg Freeze.
The two teams' combined record this season is 1W-11L-1OTL-2SOL.
Next week on the 18th and 19th the Blizz will face two of the top teams in the MJHL, the Steinbach Pistons and the Selkirk Steelers.
In the first meeting between the Blizz and the Pistons, it was Steinbach who blanked the Blizzard 4-0 and as for Selkirk, they're the only team that remains undefeated at 9-0.
The Blizz are sitting in first place in the MGEU West Division and are sporting a 6W-2L-0OTL-0SOL record.
