The Pas Fire Department Association is calling on all fire departments, paramedics, officers and sheriffs for their 1st Annual Emergency Services Slo-Pitch Fundraiser Tournament. The funds raised will help support local firefighter Xander Wadelius who was recently diagnosed with Hodgkin's Lymphoma. The tourney starts on August 2nd and runs till the 4th with all games being played in The Pas. The tournament will feature kids' activities, draws, a canteen, a beer garden and a home run derby for participants. If you and your team are coming in from out of town, camping will be available at the Ag Grounds and Clearwater Provincial Park.
