The OCN Winterhawks are looking for community help as they prepare to hit the ice in Saskatoon. The Winterhawks will be participating in the Fred Sasakamoose "Chief Thunderstick" National Hockey Championships, an event that showcases First Nations players from the Junior A level and above. The team needs community assistance to help cover hotel costs. Just under $600 per player, or $5,817 for the whole team is required which will allow them to attend and show off talent from within the OCN. The tournament hits the ice from May 15th to the 19th.
