Blizzard Move on to Round Two

After one of the longest playoff series in MJHL history, the Blizzard are moving on to the second round. Both the Dauphin Kings and the Blizzard have been evenly matched this season, ending the regular season only 3 points apart from each other. Last night Logan Walker opened up scoring in the second period for the Dauphin Kings and Sebastian Hamming scored two minutes later, tying the game. This tie lasted a full 76 minutes and 52 seconds. Finally, after playing more than four full games worth of hockey throughout two games Riley See scored the game and series-winning goal in the third overtime period last night. The Blizzard have little time to rest and recover before facing their biggest challenge yet, the Steinbach Pistons. The first game takes place in Steinbach later this week.
