The Blizzard earned their first win of the 2024 MJHL Playoffs last night against the Dauphin Kings.

Griffin Ayote scored the first goal of the game late into the first period and Cheechoo Lathlin scored early in the second period before Jordan Bax tied the game up with a pair of goals for the Dauphin Kings.

Riley See wasted no time in the third period, pulling ahead of the Kings with a goal only 49 seconds in. Griffin scored his second goal of the night 6 minutes later, forcing the Kings to make a tough decision and empty their net in the final minutes. This allowed Sam Zagari to dump in the final goal unassisted, ending the night 5-3 for the Blizzard.

The boys look to even the score this Thursday at 7:30 PM in Dauphin for game 4.
