The MBCI Spartans Junior Varsity Basketball Team was in Winnipeg for the provincial championships last week. The Spartans advanced two rounds, beating out the Ste. Rose Celtics and the Prairie Mountain Predators. Fighting hard, the Spartans fell to the Green Valley Pirates 64-49, earning second place in the Consolation Final.
