The Blizzard are celebrating a dozen wins after another big weekend for the team. On Friday the Blizzard Hosted the Winnipeg Blues in a special game that featured jerseys paying homage to The Pas Huskies, along with a puck drop featuring alumni from the team. Sebastian Hamming opened up scoring late into the first period, with the goal going largely unanswered until the final minute of the second period. During the third, The Blizzard continued putting pressure on the Blues. Lucas De La Salle scored twice along with Marlen Edwards and Miguel Bouvier as the night ended 5-1 for the Blizzard—the team Pelted Blues goaltender River Leslie-Toogood with 57 shots, versus the Blues 16.

On Saturday the fight was on as the Blizzard fought to maintain their lead against the Dauphin Kings. The Blizzard wasted no time as they took advantage of an early 3-on-5 opportunity that started less than two minutes into the game. Sebastian Hamming and Miguel Bouvier each scored less than a minute apart, setting The Blizzard up for a lead early on. A Blizzard Tripping penalty allowed Alex Senf of the Dauphin Kings to score the team's first goal of the game in the final 5 minutes of the period. After another early goal from Miguel Bouvier during the second period both goaltenders held their own despite the gloves coming off from both teams, with multiple roughing penalties served throughout. The Blizzard tactic of keeping pressure on early in the periods seemed to work as Sebastian Hamming scored another goal 3 minutes into the third period and Griffin Ayotte scored just under 6 minutes in, adding extra insurance to a Blizzard win. The Dauphin Kings did pick up the pace later into the third period, scoring two more goals as the night ended 5-3 for the Blizzard. Shots were much more even this time around, at 25-24 for The Blizzard.

The regular season wraps up this week with three inter-division games as the Blizzard face the Dauphin Kings once more on Wednesday, The Waywayseecappo Wolverines on Friday and the Neepawa Titans on Saturday in the final regular season game for the Blizzard.
