The Blizzard are back on the ice today after splitting the weekend in the southern end of the province.
Despite serving 6 penalties versus the Steelers one the team started the weekend with win over the Selkirk Steelers. Ashton Gallagher scored his first two goals as a Blizzard helping lead them to a 5-2 win.
On Saturday Keenan McNeill scored the lone Blizzard goal as the Flyers pulled ahead 3-1.
Today is the start of the MJHL Showcase and the Blizzard have quite the battle ahead of them. Tonight they face the league leading Steinbach Pistons, a team they took into overtime just last week.
Tomorrow they face the Niverville Nighthawks in the afternoon before returning home and preparing for a double home stand this weekend.
On Friday they host the Portage Terriers and on Saturday the Virden Oil Capitals will be in town.
