OCN Blizzard alumni former team captain Riley Zimmerman is advancing to the U-Sports level.

Zimmerman spent all 4 years of his Junior A career with the OCN Blizzard, Captaining the team during their most successful season in recent years.

He ended last season with 27 goals and 32 assists during the regular season.

U Sports is the highest level of university hockey within Canada.

Zimmerman will be staying home in Winnipeg after signing with the University of Manitoba.
