The Brooks Bandits of the Alberta Junior Hockey League have won the Centennial Cup. The Bandits Faced off against Saskatchewan's Battleford North Starts on Sunday with an impressive 4-0 victory to win the cup.
The Battleford North Stars had just finshed a game the night before where they bested the host Portage Terriers 7-1.
Ethan Barwick stopped all 30 shots on goal in the shutout victory. The Brooks Bandits went undefeated for the entirety of the tournament, with multiple goal leads ranging from 3 to as many as 9 goals in every game.
