OCN Blizzard Head Coach and Assistant General Manager Doug Johnson has been announced as one of four finalists for the Muzz MacPherson Memorial Award for Coach of the Year!
He’s going up against Tyson Ramsey of the Oil Capitals, Justin Falk of the Winkler Flyers and Barry Wolff of the Swan Valley Stampeders.
Doug earned coach of the Year three times with the Nipawin Hawks of the SJHL before joining the Blizzard this season.
He’s improved the teams record to 30 wins and 19 losses this year compared to 18 and 29 last year.
The Blizzard still have 4 regular season games to go before playoffs officially begin.
