The OCN Blizzard Made Big Moves Over The Weekend

The OCN Blizzard Acquired two big names from the Nipawin Hawks of the SJHL over the weekend.

On the ice they acquired 20 year old goaltender Chase Hamm from Saskatoon for a Player Development Fee.

On the bench The Blizzard announced the hiring of Head Coach & Assistant General Manager Doug Johnson.

Johnson's career spans over 15+ years. 10 of those years are with the Nipawin Hawks and include winning the SJHL the Canalta Cup in 2018 and three Coach of the Year awards.

The Blizzard had hired Darren Naylor out of BC back in July,  but Naylor was suspended by Hockey Canada for breaking the Coach's Conduct Policy and has not been reinstated.

Welcome to the team Chase and Doug!
