Yesterday, was International Overdose Awareness Day and Play it Safer network held a special event to mark the day outside the CJAR Studios here in The Pas.

Krista Tooley the Network Coordinator for the play it safer network said the event was a success with over 70 people attending and interacting at the event and learning new things about drug overdose and how to  Naloxone, a substance that can temporarily relieve the effects of an opoid overdose and Nalozone kits are available at the Play it Safer network office located next to the CJAR Studios on Third Street West and Naloxone training can also be provided.
