Graham Kahler the CAO for The Town of The Pas provided an update on the status of the towns sewage lagoon.

The town received a grant from the Manitoba restart program for the lagoons upgrade and the town is now in the planning stages waiting to receive the green light to proceed with the construction on the lagoon upgrade.

An upgrade is required to expand the lagoons capacity and allow for future growth in the community.

If the project does move ahead the bulk of the construction could be completed by the summer or fall of this year.
