The First Nations Health and Social Secretariat of Manitoba congratulates Sarah DeLaronde from The Pas for receiving the Henry Skywater Cultural Memorial Scholarship.

She is currently enrolled in an Indigenous Development Program where she is pursuing a master’s degree with the goal of teaching her children that anything can be done with a little hard work.

Henry Skywater was a knowledge keeper that worked hard to preserve indigenous culture and the scholarship was created to continue his legacy.
