During Monday evening’s committee of the whole meeting town council discussed the possibility of implementing a temporary closure of two of the three walkways here in town.

Several months ago residents came forward to complain about the walkways being hot spots for vandals.

The plan is to temporarily close the west end walkway between Trager and Cudmore and the walkway between Cudmore and the Rotary Park.

The other walkway on the east end of Cudmore between Trager and Cudmore would remain open and the town will see how this plan works going forward.

The resolution to approve this plan will be brought up again at another meeting of council.
