The Pas Community Development Corporation conducted a presentation to The Pas Mayor and Council on Monday Evening.

 

They talked about what they accomplished in the past year and the things they have planned for 2020.

 

The CDC put in a proposal to Manitoba Housing to gain access to funding to provide low to moderate income families with a percentage for a down payment on their first home.

 

They are expected to find out whether or not they will receive that funding by the end of the month.

 

The CDC’s other goals for this year involves working with developers to determine how to provide more housing and working with immigration services with the goal of attracting more immigrants to the community.
