Sam Waller Museums Director Sharain Jones spoke to Arctic Radio about funding they received from celebrate 150 to put on events to celebrate Manitoba’s 150th anniversary.

The museum received a total of $7,000 worth of funding and the events they are hoping to organize are still in the planning stages.

Jones added that they hope to have a performance of the Cross Roads of History a series of monologues written about key historic figures of the area, and they also hope to put on some natural history related programming.

The events are still in the planning stage.
