Judy Klassen is running for the Federal Liberals in Our Riding. Klassen is an entrepreneur from St Theresa Point First Nation and is currently the Liberal MLA for the Keewatinook riding.
Klassen decided to run for the Federal Liberals because she said she was getting more things done for Northern First Nations Communities with Justin Trudeau compared to Manitoba’s Progressive Conservative government under Brian Pallister.
Klassen also believes that Indigenous peoples are often underrepresented in the House of Commons and her focus is the needs of First Nations Communities including education.
