The Opaskwayak Cree Nation recently issued a public statement regarding the recent acts of violence in the community.

 

According to a news release there are vulnerable persons in the community and elders require the communities support and assistance in protection.

 

Community members are reminded not to intervene if acts of violence are occurring as this is a risk to personal safety.

 

Acts of violence or our suspicious activity should be reported by calling 911 or the RCMP at 204-627-6200.
