Flu shot clinics are coming up soon in our area.  Immunize Canada says it’s important to get your flu shot. Director of Infection Control and Prevention at Mount Sinai Hospital Allison McGeer has more. "You're getting your flu shot for two reasons, first is to protect yourself from serious illness, but the second important thing about getting a flu shot, is when you get it you also protect the people around you." The National Advisory Committee on Immunization recommends that all Canadians six months of age and older and people at high risk receive the influenza vaccine.  Stay tune to 102.9 CJAR for dates of flu clinics in our area.
