Thanks to Shirley Barbeau's great idea they will be raising money to purchase more sleeping mats for Oscars Place.

When Barbeau heard that the homeless shelter only had 9 cots available although there are times when they have as many as 24 come to spend a night out of the cold, she wanted to do something about it.

She is now inviting everyone to help and Be a Star this Holiday Season.  All  you have to do is stop by the Westoba Credit union and purchase a star for 2 dollars. All money will be going towards the sleeping mats and they’re goal is 1-thousand dollars.
