A tough weekend for the OCN Storm as they fell to third place in the standings after a matchup with the NCN Flames.
With goals from Logan Marr, Dwayne Mackenzie and another two from Drew Peters the first period ended with an eventful 4-3 lead for the Storm.
Unfortunately for the team a series of penalties ranging from head contact to interference allowed the flames to pull ahead 6-4 against the Storm in the second period before a scoreless third period ended the night.
The OCN Storm now sit third in the league at 14 points so far this season, 4 points behind the league leading Peguis Juniors. They get just shy of 2 weeks to regroup before facing the Juniors November 25th and 26th.
