the Zone 11 Junior Varsity Volleyball Championships took place over the weekend.

The MBCI Spartains Junior Varsity Girls team earned second place against the Hapnot Kopper Queens with a score of 13-25 and 17-25. The girls team will be applying for a wildcard sport for a chance to go to provincials later this month.

MBCI hosted the zone 11 Junior Varsity Boys Championship over the weekend. The MBCI Spartans emerged undefeated, earning them the zone 11 banner and a spot in the provincial championship which will be held at MBCI and UCN later this month.

The Senior Varsity Volleyball teams are preparing for their shot at provincials this weekend in Flin Flon and Cranberry Portage.
