OCN Storm Tied for Second in the KJHL

Drew Peters' hat collection continued to grow as the OCN Storm picked up another win last night.

The PBCN Selects opened up scoring with the lone first period goal in the Whitney Forum with a goal from Micah Emiktowt.

The OCN Storm dominated the second period, pushing ahead with Drew Peters and Milan Constant both scoring their first goals of the night late into the second period and ending 40 minutes of play at 2-1 for the Storm.

A power play early into the third period allowed Milan to score his second of the night before Micah and Harlan Jacobson each scored, tying the game at 3-3 with 6 minutes to go.

The tie was short lived however as Waylon Munroe Jr. dumped on into the selects net only 13 seconds later, pushing the Storm ahead. The Selects jumped the gun on trying to force a 6 on 5 in the final minutes, earning them a penalty for too many men and allowing Drew Peters to score yet again.

He wasn't done there however, scoring his third goal of the night to earn a hat trick with only one second left on the clock and ending the night 6-3 for the Storm.

There's only one more game on the slate for them this week as they host the NCN Flames on Friday at 7:30pm.

Both teams have earned 14 points this season, tying them for second place in the KJHL while the Peguis Juniors sit at first at 17 points.
