A surprising defeat last night for the Blizzard. Despite a tie game after 40 minutes of play and an early goal by Miguel Bouvier only seconds into the third period the Swan Valley Stampeders fought back in the final 10.

Linden Perry tied up the game 9 minutes and 33 seconds into the period before another 3 goals followed from the Stampeders, ending the night 5-2 for Swan Valley.

The Blizzard continue their homestand this weekend against the Winkler Flyers on Saturday before getting a shot at a rematch on Sunday against the Swan Valley Stampeders.
