The Pas Huskies Minor Hockey team received the Chevrolet Good Deeds Cup and their cash award of $15,000 at a special ceremony at the Kelsey Recreation Wellness Centre on Saturday afternoon. The Huskies received a lot of praise not only for their victory but for their efforts with helping people in the community.

Olympic Gold Medalist Caroline Ouellette, and Chad Zolinski from The Stand Up For Oscars Place Group spoke at the ceremony and they congratulated the team. The Huskies will be putting their $15,000 prize money towards the Oscars Place Homeless Shelter.
