Blizzard add National Champion Ryan Swier

With the deals the OCN Blizzard have made over the past few days it comes as no surprise there's one more to announce. The Blizzard have added 19 yr-old Forward Ryan Swier from the Portage Terriers. Swier comes as future considerations from the trade that saw the OCN Blizzard send Grant Valiquette to the Terriers in January.

The Lacombe AB native, had 12 goals and 16 assists in 70 games between the MJHL Season, Playoffs, Western Canada Cup and the RBC Cup.

Swier(96') was apart of the RBC Cup winning Terrier team and will bring valuable youth experience and talent to the OCN Blizzard. Although Swier played in just 3 WCC games and 3 RBC Cup games.

He will be expected to play a top 6 role with the OCN Blizzard on a team with many 96' and 97' born players already on it.
