OCN Blizzard - Wayway Game Results

OCN entered the game 5-0-2 in their previous 7 contests but had their feet swept right out from underneath of them in a 5-3 loss to the Wolverines.

The Wolverines came out firing and got up early taking a 2-0 lead in the 1st intermission. In the second OCN answered back on the PP as Rhett law scored his 12th of the season. The Wolverines would add another and take a 3-1 lead into the third period. Now in the third, that's when OCN would get themselves into penalty trouble. Even with penalties Shaq Houle would score to cut the lead to 3-2. Late in the game short handed OCN would pull goaltender Brody Claeys, Wayway added an empty net goal followed by a quick goal by Brady Keeper, again making it a one goal game 4-3. Wayway would add one more empty net goal making the final 5-3.

OCN Blizzard

The OCN Blizzard played another stellar game post trade deadline last night, beating the Dauphin Kings on home ice 8-4.

In all areas the Blizzard played great hockey. Other then a few mental break downs in the defensive zone, and with the help of great play by goalie Brody Claeys the Blizzard played shutdown in their own zone.

Offensively, things clicked for the third straight game, 8 goals against a great young hockey teram in the Kings goes along way for confidence.  - See more at:
