THIS WEEKEND Manitoba's top 40 UNDER 16 FEMALE hockey camp will begin in Portage La Prairie.
From this tournament of 40 girls they will be selecting team Manitoba's under 16 Provincial team.
THE PAS HUSKIES WILL BE REPRESENTED BY15 YEAR OLD ABIGAIL MACKINNON.
The Wanless, Manitoba girl has been skating since she was four years old. and has been playing in The Pas Minor Hockey Association since she was 5 years old. .
"SHE SAYS SHE WAS EXCITED TO GET THE CALL. AND BESIDES SOME LITTLE SETBACKS.EVERYONE SHOULD FOLLOW THEIR DREAMS ."
This upcoming tournament is one step closer towards her ultimate goal which she told me was to play on Canada's senior woman's Olympic hockey team. The camp runs all this upcomming weekend in Portage LaPrarie.
