A team of Opaskwayak Cree Nation members competed in the Western Canada First Nations Cup golf tournament in Cold Lake, Alberta a few weeks ago and they won the B side championship.
Team member Dale Knutson said they all had a great time and they went home with some prize money, jackets, and hats. They were also the only team to represent Manitoba in the tournament.
The other team members were Pete Norman, Andy Constant, Russell Constant, Ashton Constant, Kevin McGillivray, Justin Spence, and team captain Greg Young.
