A zone 11 track and field tournament was held at Margaret Barbour Collegiate
over the weekend and MBCI placed third overall with a medal count of 25. The winners of the tournament are:
Chase Bertholet: 1st in both 800m and 1500m
Mia Brown: 2nd in triple jump
Jack Dunham: 3rd in 3000M
Jane Dunham: 1st in Javelin and 2nd in 800M
Aidan Froese: 3rd in 200M
Leif Grindey: 1st in 3000M 2nd in Triple Jump and 3rd in 1500M
Chase Muswagan: 2nd in Long Jump and High Jump
Hunter Rambow: 1st in 100M and 200M
Seth Salamandyk: 2nd in long jump and 1st in triple jump
Dylan Stark: 1st in long and high jump and 2nd in 100M
The 4x400M JV boys, 4x400M SV boys, and 4X100M SV boys relay teams placed 1st, The 4x100M JV boys relay team place 2nd, and the 4x100M JV girls relay team placed 3rd.
A special congratulations goes out to the competitors who have the opportunity to represent MBCI in the rack and field provincials in Winnipeg from June 10 to the 12th and all the competitors that took part.
