The RCMP has charged 19 year old Dylan Caribou and a 15 year old girl from Mathias Colomb Cree Nation with second degree murder. These arrests and charges are in relation to the homicide of a 15 year old girl from Opaskwayak Cree Nation that occurred here in The Pas on December 14th.
It is believed that the victim knew the two suspects. Both Dylan Caribou and the 15 year old girl are in custody and the will appear in The Pas Provincial Court on December 24th.
