On, Sunday May 27th the Manitoba Liquor and Lotteries MS walk will once again take place in The Pas. Canada has one of the highest rates of multiple sclerosis in the world and the walk is a demonstration of how you can help change the lives of those affected.
The Pas resident Melanie Young was diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis and she said in a press release that the MS walk helps those that are living and affected by MS to become more visible in the community and it raises awareness about the disease.
This year’s event will be held at the Royal Canadian Legion Branch 19. The Check in for the walk begins at 9:30 AM and the walk will begin at 11:00. To register visit mswalks.ca.
