A series of traditional workshops are going to be held at The Pas Friendship Centre by Irvin Head. The first workshop will be held on May 22nd and he will be teaching you how to make a cradle board and a moss bag. A cradle board is a traditional pack that is used to carry babies.
The workshops will continue to run every Tuesday and Thursday until the end of June from 6-8 PM. He will also be teaching stone carving, wood carving and how to make items out of leather. The supplies are limited and you are asked to sign up before May 18th. Call the friendship centre at 204-627-7500 for more information.
