The Stand Up for Oscars Place Group held a meeting last Saturday at the Oscars Place Homeless Shelter. During the meeting they went through some options on where they will move the Shelter at the beginning of April as The Pas Friendship Centre is not allowing the group to continue using their building after March of 2018. The Group is also planning a fundraising Chase the Ace and a cot drive for The Shelter.
There will be another community meeting on December 2nd where they will be wrapping cardboard boxes to put in stores around town to collect donations for the Shelter. You can keep up to date with Stand Up For Oscars Place by joining their group on Facebook.
