The Office of the Fire Commissioner is reminding Manitobans to check fire extinguishers in homes, offices, and vehicles after a recall was issued. According to a news release the recall affects two styles of fire extinguishers under the brand name Kidde and Garrison as well as push button pindicator extinguishers made between 1973 and August 15th of 2017.
The recall is due to incidents where the extinguishers have become clogged or required excessive force to activate.
