The Kelsey School Board of Trustees has denied The Pas Global Travel Clubs request to advertise on school property. School Board Chair Vaughn Wadelius says one of the main concerns behind this decision is liability issues and they they do not want to be in the travel business.
Darwin Marshall and Joanne Basson from The Pas Global Travel Club are not happy with the school board’s decision and they ensure that the travel club has no possibility of liability that will be linked back to the school.
The club will have to advertise using social media and using other means of advertising. If they are unable to get enough youth for the program they will have no choice but to cancel their planned trips.
