Two weeks ago, The Province of Manitoba announced that The Pas’s Grace Lake Airport would be shutting down due to the unfeasible population base in the community.
Missinippi is the main airline that uses the Grace Lake Airport. June 15th is the deadline to have airplanes and other vehicles removed from the airport property.
Closure of the airport is expected to allow greater efficiencies for the Clearwater Lake Airport, and allow the land of Grace Lake Airport to be used for other economic purposes.
